Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church (KLBC) was founded in 1952 by missionaries who came over from the United States because they had a vision to win the people of this nation for the kingdom of God.

KLBC is a living testimony to their vision and the faithfulness of God in their obedience to the Great Commission. As grateful recipients of the legacy the missionaries have left behind, we at Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church now carry on the work of preaching the Gospel through the various ministries that have been established for this purpose.

October 1, 2006 will go down in our history as the beginning of a new chapter for us - a brand, new chapter of experiencing His marvelous grace and love in our midst. It has been three months since we moved back and the building is already fully utilized with different language groups worshipping under one roof. Services and classes are still back-to-back and it may not be long before we face the crunch of insufficient space. But for now, we are learning to share with each other God’s blessings as we use this new facility to make Him known and extend His kingdom in our community.
