Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church (KLBC) was founded in 1952 by missionaries who came over from the United States because they had a vision to win the people of this nation for the kingdom of God.  

KLBC is a living testimony to their vision and the faithfulness of God in their obedience to the Great Commission. As a grateful recipient of the legacy the missionaries have left behind, we at Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church now carry on the work of preaching the Gospel through the various ministries that have been established for this purpose.

Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church is a church founded on Baptist faith and traditions whose primary purpose is to provide basic spiritual functions to perform that which are essential to its life. The mission finds its expression through four basic functions. They are:
